Key Responsibilities: Plan, deliver, and evaluate engaging Business Studies lessons for Key Stage 4 and 5 in line with the National Curriculum and exam board specifications, incorporating the school's Christian ethos. Foster a love of learning and encourage students to explore business concepts with curiosity and enthusiasm. Develop and implement innovative curriculum initiatives that align with the school's vision and the latest advancements in business education. Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and challenged to reach their full potential. Build positive and supportive relationships with students, promoting a growth mindset and a belief in their ability to succeed in the business world. Play an active role in the department, including contributing to curriculum development, assessment strategies, and departmental meetings. Participate in whole-school events and initiatives, fostering a collaborative spirit and contributing to the wider school community. The Ideal Candidate: A qualified Business Studies Teacher with a demonstrable track record of success in engaging students and fostering their understanding of business concepts and practices. Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for business, with a strong understanding of key business principles, theories, and real-world applications. Strong pedagogical skills with the ability to deliver innovative and effective lessons that cater to diverse learning styles. A commitment to high standards and the ability to create a positive, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
