As a Post Office Counter Clerk, you will be working with a friendly management team to ensure the effective operation of the Post Office. You will be responsible for the efficient serving of Post Office customers and maintaining high working standards for accuracy.
This involves the correct and accurate handling of money and the use of Post Office computer systems. You will also be required to become proficient with all Post Office products, upselling, and procedures.
The successful candidate must have previous experience and be able to follow daily, weekly, and monthly procedures, including the relevant serving, cleaning, operation, security, and reporting duties.
Good communication skills are a prerequisite of this position, as are excellent customer service skills; you should be flexible to include Saturdays. Experience in daily balancing, weekly reports, and ATM knowledge is desirable.
