Description | Salary £24,404 - £25,183 per annum| Permanent | Full Time, 37 hours per week | FM Cleaning Services Management | County Hall Preston and Various Locations International Sponsorship – this role is not open to international sponsorship Cleaner About the Role This post is required to work flexibly within 37 hours, in order to deliver a reactive and rapid response service to cover absences and cleaning incidents across Lancashire. Key Accountabilities Provide cover for cleaning in Lancashire Constabulary buildings, Care Homes, and County Council properties Provide Bio Hazard cleaning at Police sites Deliver a cleaning service in line with regulations ensuring adherence to the use of correct chemicals and equipment. To use specialist cleaning equipment for surfaces that require various cleaning methods. To ensure safe methods of working and taking responsibility for health and safety of yourselves and building users when on duty Key holding duties. Provide county wide cover for cleaning in Police, Care, and Corporate establishments. Deliver a cleaning service in line with regulations ensuring adherence to the use of correct chemicals and equipment and undertaking training for any specialist equipment used or surfaces that require various cleaning methods. To ensure safe methods of working and taking responsibility for health and safety of yourselves and building users when on duty and for those that have key holding duties. Whilst in the main the duties will be between normal working hours, the specialist cleaning service is a 24 hours 7 days a week service, therefore there is a requirement to provide an element of 'on-call' / standby duties, this is evenly shared between the team. An on-call standby allowance and any additional working hours are paid over and above the stipulated salary. During the interview the on-call duties will be explained in more detail.
