Within the Compliance Policy team, this includes horizon scanning, regulatory compliance, policy oversight, and regulatory engagement. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work as part of the Compliance Team in delivering practical and clear guidance to the business on how to effectively meet new and existing conduct regulatory requirements and proactively help the business to ensure that it implements effective systems and controls and to escalate any material issues identified. Your responsibilities will include… Assist the Team in providing the business with support, information and advice in relation to the interpretation of regulatory and conduct rules/guidelines and other associated regulatory themes. Assist with the review of business owned policies, and procedures as appropriate. Ensuring they are aligned to regulatory requirements and are consistent across the Group. Write, review and communicate Compliance owned policies and procedures, ensuring they remain up to date, and regulatory and conduct requirements are articulated clearly for the Group to adhere to. Support the Compliance Managers by undertaking day to day BAU activities in respect to the SM&CR annual plan, as required. Support the day to day BAU activities in respect to the SM&CR annual plan and ensure that Compliance records are kept up to date. Support with Horizon Scanning activities by identifying and triaging relevant conduct and regulatory updates. Assist in drafting updates for the wider business and supporting with thematic reviews as required. Contribute to the Group Compliance Function’s identification, assessment, reporting and review of regulatory and conduct matters facing the business.
