Gwynedd and Mon CAMHS have an opportunity to create a dedicated Single Point of Access team for the service. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the front door of children’s mental health services, responding to requests for support, information and advice from our referring community. This extends across a broad range of services including education, primary health care, statutory and third sector providers.
In addition, as the service is in a period of transformation and improvement, you will have the opportunity to contribute towards enhancing the service model which will ensure children, young people and their families will have access to appropriate service provision according to their needs.
The ideal candidate would have substantial post qualifying work experience.
Main duties of the job
To provide assessment and intervention and / or specific evidence based therapies to children and young people with mental health problems and significant mental health disorders. Provide consultation and support to front line professionals in understanding and supporting children / young people and families through providing training, advice and direction in addition to the delivery of early intervention programmes.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
