Job Summary: We are seeking a proactive and organised Customer Service Representative to assist with the day-to-day liaison with our clients and customers. The Customer Service Representative will serve as the first point of contact for customers, handling inquiries, resolving issues, and providing outstanding service. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a passion for helping customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Support & Communication
· Act as first point of contact for customers, handling inquiries via phone and email
· Schedule appointments liaising with our installation teams and residents and providing timely updates where changes are made to works programme.
· Sending out letters and information packs at agreed times to ensure our clients and customers are fully informed of the works schedule.
· Provide clear and accurate information on energy efficiency measures, including insulation, heat pumps, solar panels, and other home improvements.
· When appropriate educate customers on the benefits of energy efficiency upgrades and how they can reduce their energy bills.
· Guide customers through the eligibility criteria for government-backed schemes (e.g., ECO4, Boiler Upgrade Scheme).
· Schedule appointments for surveys, installations, and follow-up visits, coordinating with internal teams.
· Obtain customer feedback to improve services and meet compliance standards.
· Resolve customer complaints and escalate complex issues where necessary.
Process Coordination & Administration
· Manage customer records, ensuring all interactions are logged in our CRM system.
· Process applications for government-funded energy efficiency schemes and liaise with relevant bodies for approvals.
· Track and update customers on the progress of their installations.
· Assist in documentation, ensuring compliance with industry standards and funding requirements.
· Coordinate with the installation and technical teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Continuous Improvement & Team Collaboration
· Work closely with sales, technical teams, and installers to ensure a seamless customer journey.
· Identify common customer concerns and suggest improvements to internal processes.
· Participate in training to enhance knowledge of energy efficiency measures and UK government schemes.
Qualifications and Skills:
· Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
· Previous experience in a customer service or a related field
· A high level of discretion and confidentiality.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Positive attitude, adaptability, and strong interpersonal skills.
· Problem-solving skills.
· Proficiency with office software (Word, Outlook, Excel)
· Attention to detail and a proactive approach to improving office processes.
