Location: SunderlandSalary: £38,000 to £40,000 per annumContract Type: Full Time / Permanent Day-to-day of the role: Lead the implementation of new installations and integration with core Management Information Systems, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures. Oversee software upgrades to the main management information systems. Coach and mentor system developers, providing technical support and training. Lead the creation, maintenance, and testing of integrated databases supplementary to the main records systems. Develop web-based solutions to improve access to information. Maintain functional and technical documentation, including a comprehensive change log and procedural documentation of all management reports and data flow diagrams. Design and produce reports using SQL databases, SSRS, views, and stored procedures, combining data from multiple sources. Work proactively with system users to develop methods for the capture and maintenance of data, enhancing quality and operational efficiency. Experience & Knowledge: Extensive experience with RDBMS such as SQL Server or Oracle. Proficiency in SQL tools and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS). Strong knowledge in writing complex SQL code, including functions and stored procedures. Experience in supervising or managing a small team. Excellent problem-solving, technical, and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of interacting with both technical and non-technical staff.
