Our client have some exciting new opportunities in the pipeline for electrical biased Commissioning Engineers looking to work on the UK's largest construction site - HPC. We are seeking an Electrical Commissioning Engineer to work on the HPC project, to carry out roles under the profile of Electrical Commissioning Engineer. Engineers will normally be aligned to either HV, LV, DC or generator systems but will be expected to work across all electrical disciplines at times during the contract period. This includes system voltages at 400kV, 10kV, 400VAC, 690VAC 220VDC and control voltages. The engineer must be able to work with plans and meet tight deadlines. The Electrical Commissioning Engineer will, acting under the direction and control of NNB GenCo. Carry out the following. Main deliverables and objectives include: Contribute to team meetings. Liaise with the designer. Liaise with the Project managers for electrical deliverables Accountable to a nominated Commissioning Manager/Engineer in the NNB HPC Project team Develop commissioning documentation relating to commissioning testing and system validation activities Contribute to design reviews to ensure layout of plant items and systems are in a manner that allows ease of commissioning Contribute to detailed planning of commissioning and take ownership of a programme of commissioning tests Take part in the execution of site commissioning activities including supervision of contractor commissioning personnel on behalf of HPC to achieve successful and safe commissioning of HPC systemsWhat you will need: Degree qualified (or equivalent qualification such as HNC experience) in Electrical Engineering. BS7671 18th Edition regulations Good oral and written communication skills and the ability to convey complex information to others. Ability to plan works and support scheduling including understanding outputs of planning tools such as Microsoft project or Primavera P6 Must of lived and worked in the UK for the past 5 consecutive years to meet security clearance requirements.
