This position reports to: Bid and Proposal Manager
Your role and responsibilities:
1. Develops and implements solutions, product packages, and software applications with their team.
2. Identifies and cultivates new business opportunities by proactively prospecting and networking.
3. Understands customer needs and requirements, and effectively communicates the ability of ABB's solutions to address those needs.
4. Coordinates the product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the value and benefits of ABB's solutions.
5. Supports in preparing sales proposals and negotiates contracts to secure new businesses and proposes consulting services and solutions to meet customer needs.
6. Supports the Application Sales Manager in preparing reports and other sales-related information required by the business.
7. Works to business KPIs set for each year as part of goals and behavioral targets from the ABB 4Cs - Collaboration, Curiosity, Courage, and Care.
8. Negotiates specifications and technical content of proposals with customers.
9. Maintains the highest level of engagement with existing and new customers as part of the ABB QCE (Quality Customer Experience) program.
10. Builds and maintains strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within the COBOT market.
11. Applies standard processes and tools applicable to their own area of responsibility.
12. Follows work plans and cost estimates ensuring quality and timely implementation within targeted cost.
13. Reports inefficiencies in processes and tools.
14. Conducts risk and opportunity assessments for consulting assignments and initiates actions to mitigate and control risks.
15. Collaborates with the team of Application Engineers and Global Product Managers to stay updated on new features, enhancements, and market trends.
16. Ensures compliance with the ABB code of conduct, global and local standards, tools, policies, and processes in their assigned area.
17. Ensures adherence to all relevant internal and statutory regulations and policies.
18. Demonstrates an understanding of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) terms, concept application, reporting, and risks.
Qualifications for the role:
* Team player - this role has a high degree of collaboration.
* Extensive experience in engineering.
* Ability to create BOM/FCM for pricing.
* Some experience of robotics applications is required.
* Knowledge of Manufacturing.
* Excellent Communication Skills.
* Current driving license.
