The Intelligence Analyst is responsible for the delivery of Securitas’ Intelligence services to one of our key clients. This role is customer facing, and as such will include direct engagement with customers. The role is based on one of the client sites in Birmingham, Bristol, Glasgow, London, Norwich, Perth, Sheffield, or York with travel between locations as required. The role has a direct reporting line to the client (Director level stakeholder) and the Securitas Risk Intelligence Center (RIC) for guidance and support.
The Intelligence Analyst will deliver intelligence services to the client organization – a financial services organization (insurance and investment) with operations in the UK, Ireland, and Canada, and additional locations globally. This includes intelligence reports (written), briefings (verbal), investigations, and any other duties as required by the client.
Using knowledge and systems available to them, the Intelligence Analyst is a critical role in ensuring that Securitas and the client organization is able to stay ahead of threats and protect their customer’s interests. Responsibilities:
* Delivery of client intelligence requirements as part of the Securitas Risk Intelligence Center.
* Support the Securitas Risk Intelligence Center in delivering intelligence services to Securitas’ customers; work collaboratively with colleagues, taking ownership for products and outcomes.
* Support the maturity and growth of the Securitas Risk Intelligence Center and colleagues' professional development.
* Support the management of client-facing intelligence services, and ongoing service development.
* Develop and drive capability improvements across the service to deliver an industry-leading service.
* Work in partnership with Securitas support functions to deliver a shared service that is unrivaled in the industry.
* Work closely in partnership with other internal stakeholders and be willing to challenge the status quo.
* Support business development and commercial opportunities.
* Liaise and collaborate with colleagues, stakeholders, and agencies in the UK and internationally to gather further information.
Operational Responsibilities:
* Receive, manage and facilitate direction of intelligence requirements.
* Manage intelligence collection, including preparing and maintaining intelligence collection plans, and collecting data and information from a range of sources and agencies.
* Conduct intelligence analysis, including processing data and information, collation and validation, and evaluating the reliability of sources and credibility of information.
* Manage and deliver intelligence assessments, including building intelligence pictures and profiles, and identifying potential targets.
* Prepare and disseminate intelligence deliverables including alerts, written reports, dashboards, datasets, and oral briefs.
* Provide advice, guidance and innovative resolutions as a subject matter expert, so that decisions can be made on how to address risks.
* Take responsibility to ensure action is taken on critical recommendations.
* Review effectiveness of intelligence.
* Prioritize and manage workloads for customer projects which may have immediate, short, medium and/or long-term requirements.
* Work with key stakeholders including Business Information analysts to combine business information with intelligence products. Strong aptitude for analysis, a naturally enquiring mind, and excellent problem-solving skills.
* Continuously learn and be flexible to develop expertise in specific areas, using new systems.
* Ability to lead and work as part of a team.
* Excellent report-drafting skills, with consistent attention to detail as reports will be written for readers in the highest levels within corporate organizations.
* Proficient in office software applications (i.e., MS Word, Excel, etc.).
* Willingness to learn and work with a range of IT applications, including some specialized intelligence and incident management tools.
