About the Role - Russell Publishing is recruiting for a Business Development Manager to join our growing sales team, it is essential for applicants to have experience within a B2B media/ publishing/ events/ marketing solutions environment. Responsibilities - Proactively develop new business to expand client base and increase sales Identify and develop relationships with potential new clients through research Gain a sound understanding of the core subject matter and provide insight and market feedback to the wider team Maintaining high levels of scheduled sales calls, visits and client meetings Create bespoke campaign proposals to support clients needs Issuing campaign performance reports to clients Sales prospecting through canvassing of clients across competitive media channels Initiate contact with prospective customers found through prospecting; facilitate and setup meetings via teams or at external conferences and events Ability to research prospects and build a comprehensive sales pipeline Create bespoke campaign proposals to support clients needs Qualifications - 3 years experience of business development/ sales within publishing, media, sponsorship, marketing solutions or delegates sales is essential. Excellent IT skills - Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Powerpoint). Knowledge and use of CRMs. Excellent communication skills (written & verbal) – accuracy and professional. Professional attitude and integrity. Networking and building effective relationships. Time management – punctuality, planning & meeting deadlines. Commercial awareness. UK and International travel to visit clients and to attend external industry events is required. Due to the nature of our location, you will require a vehicle to commute to TN16 1NU.
