This role is ideal for experienced TAs or graduates with a passion for supporting students with special educational needs. Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering lessons that cater to a range of abilities. Use visual aids, sensory resources, and strategies to support learning and engagement. Help students stay focused, manage their emotions, and develop independence. Monitor progress and liaise with teachers, SENCOs, and parents to provide regular updates. Support students during extracurricular activities and interventions.About You: Experience working with secondary-aged students with SEN or a relevant degree (e.g., Psychology, Education, or related fields). A calm, resilient, and empathetic approach to supporting learners. Confidence in managing behaviour and encouraging positive social interactions. Strong communication and organisational skills.
