Management Accountant – EU Gross Margin
Leeds (Thorpe Park) / Hybrid - 2 days WFH per week
We are looking for a proficient and commercially aware Management Accountant to provide financial support, insight and to contribute towards the efficient running of our Gross Margin finance team. You will be working in a fast-paced, ambitious team with a real focus on continuous improvement. The role will work closely with our business partners in the Sales team to ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial information. This would be a great opportunity for someone studying towards a formal accountancy qualification such as ACCA or CIMA.
Here are some of the EXCITING things you'll get to do (RESPONSIBILITIES)
* Support with the monthly financial close process for EU Gross Margin, ensuring all deadlines are met and a consistent approach is applied, this includes producing timely and accurate journals.
* Support with monthly Overs/Unders and quarterly True-Up process of retailer deductions as part of month end and quarter end.
* Assist in month end B2B reconciliations for various EU regions.
* Support with retailer deduction analysis files ensuring accuracy by tying back to the relevant balance sheet nominal.
* Build relationships with our Sales teams to improve quality and accuracy of financial reporting.
* Production of customer statements for revenue deductions.
* Prepare balance sheet reconciliations.
* Support the FP&A team by highlighting risks and opportunities to the monthly reforecast within revenue deductions.
* Supporting in the use of Power BI to aid the improvement of Finance internal reporting.
* Ad-hoc reporting and analysis as required.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
* Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in Finance/Accounting required
* Ideally part-qualified ACCA/CIMA or AAT Qualified
