You will be joining an established main contractor working on water schemes for high-profile clients. This organisation has a strong pipeline of work in the water sector and offers excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development. Due to continued success, they are looking to onboard a Quantity Surveyor to join their highly successful team. This is a permanent position based in the Oxford area with flexible working.
Your new role
As Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:
1. Producing and providing accurate forecasts of project costs to completion/final value
2. Managing subcontractor accounts
3. Monitoring cash flow and valuation plans
4. Managing subcontractor tender processes
5. Providing accurate reports of costs and values on the projects.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will have:
1. Experience at an Assistant Quantity Surveyor or Quantity Surveyor level
2. Good working knowledge of NEC form of contract
3. Sound interpersonal and organisational skills
4. Experience working on water projects (ideal).
