Head of Transition and Service Design - Technology - Counter Terrorism Policing HQ
Salary: The starting salary is £90,336, including allowances totalling £2,928. The salary comprises a basic of £87,408, increasing annually up to £96,341, plus a location allowance of £1,928 and a non-pensionable allowance of £1,000.
Job Summary:
The Head of Transition and Service Design will lead a team focused on designing end-to-end service journeys. This role involves creating or modifying transactions, products, and content across digital and offline channels within CTP HQ and partner organizations.
The post holder will work flexibly on IT solutions within the DDaT and Change portfolios, potentially overseeing multiple projects based on scale and complexity. Collaboration with CT partner agencies on joint Service Design/Transition activities is also expected.
This role requires close collaboration with senior leaders and involves influencing organizational strategy, ensuring effective conditions for designers, and coordinating resources across projects, suppliers, and service teams.
The position involves direct line management of Service Design and Transition SMEs and requires industry expertise, leadership, and mentoring skills.
