An exciting seasonal opportunity has arisen within our Lacock branch to be part of an inspirational team as a Seasonal Assistant in our Garden furniture/Christmas Department.
The ideal candidates will have a passion for customer service, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills and great motivation are essential to create a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
This will include working every weekend.
Responsibilities:
* Ensuring all customers are greeted and offered assistance
* Handling customer queries courteously and efficiently
* Identifying customer needs through interaction, and taking appropriate action
* Maintaining good, up-to-date knowledge of the layout of the centre and department
* Understanding the garden furniture and accessories product ranges and keeping up to date with product changes
* Establishing and maintaining an excellent standard of merchandising and housekeeping in accordance with company guidelines
* Ensuring personal compliance with Whitehall’s H&S guidelines
* Packing of goods in a professional manner, taking care not to damage items
* Maintaining a harmonious and cooperative relationship with staff, managers, and third parties
* Ensuring trolleys and baskets are always available
* Putting out stock, ensuring areas are kept tidy and stock is presentable to customers and clearly priced
* Assisting in the lifting of furniture at times
