Salary: £33,300 - £43,400 per annum

Contract: Permanent, Full Time (35 hours per week)
Join us as Finance Business Partner to support our English Core group. Collaborating closely with our Cambridge English Propositions and Operations units, with particular focus on overheads/cost performance, you will interact with individuals across various levels, including Directors.
About the role:

As a vital member of our enthusiastic team, you will deliver high-quality financial support, acting as a trusted advisor for the business and leading the activities of the team in delivering robust financial analysis and ensuring full compliance with the requirements of a global organisation, incorporating a range of legal entities.
With excellent relationship management and communication skills, you will create effective working relationships with business colleagues and work with them to ensure budgets are managed appropriately and the requirements of the financial cycle are complied with.
You will take responsibility for month-end duties, including preparation of journals and creation of reports, as well as providing representation at month-end meetings with managers and Directors to interpret and challenge financial performance.
You will assist in drawing up budgets and forecasts that accurately reflect the plans of the business area. Providing necessary support and communicating performance with Managers and Directors, you will influence business decisions through the production of insightful financial analysis.
Working with and supporting the development of costing and pricing models to support accurate financial analysis of products and services, you will act as a true business partner, enabling the business area to achieve their results.
About you:
You will ideally hold or be working towards completion of a professional accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA or equivalent) or be qualified by experience, and have demonstrable experience providing a business partnering service along with the skills and ability to provide insight into business performance.
With excellent verbal and written communication skills, you will be able to use Excel to an advanced level, manipulate complex financial data, and produce accessible outputs for a wide range of stakeholder groups. Good time management skills are essential, as is the ability to apply relevant accounting standards appropriately, ensuring accurate and compliant reporting and engaging with teams globally in operating within a complex structure.
With a high level of numeric reasoning, you will display an aptitude for problem-solving and decision-making while understanding when to refer queries to a higher level.
