They will be responsible for providing high-quality care for pupils at St Jude's, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for them during out-of-school hours. The supervisor will manage a team to deliver engaging and educational activities and act as the DSL in case of any safeguarding incidents for pupils. St Jude’s Primary is a welcoming school with a dedicated staff team. We are located in Old Portsmouth with excellent transport links and in close proximity to Gunwharf Quays. We are looking forward to appointing someone who can bring their expertise to the role and who also enjoys working in a team. The successful candidate will be someone who has: Relevant qualification in childcare or education is desirable. First Aid certification and food hygiene certification are an advantage. Experience: Experience in a supervisory role within a childcare or educational setting. Proven track record of working with primary-aged children. Skills and Knowledge: Excellent communication and organisational skills. Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection policies. Ability to plan and deliver age-appropriate activities. Personal Qualities: Passionate about working with children and promoting their well-being. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
