The University’s Income and Credit Control team has a vacancy for a full-time Finance Assistant at the Lancaster Campus, Bowerham Road.
The Assistant will work closely with and support the team’s Credit Control and Treasury Lead, providing active collection of tuition fees, accommodation fees and other debts due to the University along with allocation of income in an accurate and timely manner.
You will have extensive experience in credit control processes which is essential for the role. You will be a strong team player with excellent communication skills, building trusted relationships and working closely with members of the Income & Credit Control team and with other colleagues within the University.
The role holder is expected to deal with students, staff, and many other University customers, both professionally and confidentially in line with service standards. You will need to have excellent customer service skills, experience of team working in a customer-focused role and be able to work to a high degree of accuracy.

We will expect the successful candidate to be ready, willing, and able to adapt to changes and responsibilities as required, supporting the department.
Due to the nature of the software in use and staff support required, the role is an on-site role with limited ability to work from home under normal circumstances.
