An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Architectural Technologist/ Architect to become part of our expanding Architectural team in Bristol.
You will be required to realize preliminary designs into a buildable solution involving all aspects of Architectural delivery and coordinating detailed information across all disciplines and providing a first point of contact to the site delivery team. There will also be a requirement to address package procurement and programming in accordance with design deliverables, responding to technical queries, reviewing sub-contractor information, attending and leading Design Team and Coordination Meetings, supporting the Contractor during the build, and liaising with management on a monthly basis reporting on the status of the project.
You must have the ability to work well as part of an integrated Design team, have excellent attention to detail, efficiency, and quality. You should be a people person and a good communicator with both clients and professional delivery staff. You must be capable of working without direct supervision and be competitive and ambitious in nature. For this role, you will ideally need Data Centre or similar experience.
What you'll be doing:
1. Providing strong technical design support to project teams and delivering successful projects in accordance with client requirements.
2. Undertaking the role of team leader, working flexibly and independently where required in support of the project leader while efficiently managing one's own time.
3. Managing and supervising technical project teams, along with Client and Contractor liaison.
4. Organizing and coordinating Design Teams and sub-contractors.
5. Undertaking tasks required on the day-to-day delivery requirements of projects at all stages, including production of design deliverables, providing accurate technical information, addressing technical queries, conducting Site Inspections, performing condition surveys, and monitoring delivery while identifying proposed design changes that could impact fees, change controls, and slippage of program to the Project Leader.
