To provide a safe and high quality service whilst maintaining good operational procedures and relationships between the service and members of the public. To act as Duty Officer in all aspects of swimming pool supervision and operation of the facility.
Responsibilities
Provide a life-guarding service.
Perform swimming pool duties as required.
Undertake reception duties.
Responsible for the security of the building.
Undertake Duty Officer responsibilities.
To carry out any other duties as may be reasonably required from time to time as agreed by the post-holder with Management.
Previous experience of working directly with people.
RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Qualification or willingness to attain.
First Aid Certificate
Strong and confident swimmer
Strong customer care skills and focus.
Ability to follow routines.
Flexible approach to work.
Observational skills to enable effective management of the pool and its users.
Active listening skills for effective communication for effective interaction with members of the public and staff.
Ability to lift and carry reasonable weight, move equipment in conjunction with moving and handling regulations.
Ability to bend and stretch in order to carry out wet cleaning.
