What We’re Looking For:
We are looking for a Fluent Welsh Youth Support Assistant who is passionate, driven, and committed to helping young people reach their full potential. This is a full-time position requiring the following qualities:
* Fluency in Welsh: You will be working with Welsh-speaking young people, so the ability to converse, support, and mentor in Welsh is essential.
* Direct or Transferable Experience: Whether you have previous experience working with youth or skills that can be transferred from other roles, we want to hear from you! Your background could include education, childcare, community support, coaching, psychology or similar fields.
* Reliable and Flexible: The role requires travel up to 30 minutes, so having your own transport is a must.
* Passionate About Helping Others: Whether you’ve worked with young people before or you’re eager to make a difference, we are looking for individuals with a real passion for youth development and supporting young people’s mental, emotional, and social growth.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide one-to-one or group support to young people in both educational settings.
* Offer guidance, mentoring, and encouragement to help young people overcome challenges and achieve their goals.
* Work closely with other professionals, such as teachers to ensure the best outcomes for young people.
* Assist in the development and implementation of educational programs and activities.
* Be a positive role model for young people, helping them build confidence, resilience, and self-esteem.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
