Salary - Negotiable dependant on experience
Location - Redditch & Stokenchurch - Office based, between both locations
Hours - 38.5 hours per week 8.30am-5pm (Monday-Thursday), 8.30am-3.30pm (Friday)

Our prestigious manufacturing client is currently looking to recruit an Internal Sales Manager to be based between their Redditch & Stokenchurch offices to manage the Internal Sales teams in these locations.
Our client is flexible for the successful candidate to split the working week to best suit them (unless meetings etc require being at a certain site on a certain day) e.g 3 days from Stokenchurch and 2 days from Redditch or visa versa.
Purpose:
To manage the Internal Sales team and to co-ordinate and ensure the smooth running of sales administration and internal quotation processes.Key Responsibilities:
Internal Sales Team Management:
Support the internal sales teams with the daily processing of customer forecasts, orders, quotes, and ensuring that they are administered in a timely manner
Day to day management and support of sales authorisations
Ensure all sales processes are followed to the written procedures of the business
Ensure customer order books for long lead time parts are proactively managed to head off any stock outs
Continually manage the training and development of the teams to encompass an improvement in business acumen, commercial thinking and customer relationship building
Effectively manage, mentor and communicate to your team to ensure they remain motivated and able to carry out their jobs effectively Management Support:
Support the Sales Director with data and activity requests
Support the Sales Director in ensuring stock liability is covered by customer commitments and excess stocks are kept to acceptable levels
Ensure daily, weekly monthly tasks completed by team on time
Work with Procurement and Supply Chain to ensure the sales to purchase cycle runs smoothly and that products are correctly managed according to their status/category
Handling and documenting customer issues, complaints and coordinating the Continual Improvement Log
Produce a weekly summary report to be communicated to the wider group
Support the monthly reporting to the Group Management meeting
Be fully conversant in providing data and analysis from Power BI Business Development Support:
Co-ordinate larger sales projects and sales funnel based RFQs and ensure the sales funnel is kept up to date and relevant
Co-ordinate and monitor the quotation and quotation feedback process
Co-ordinate and monitor CRM activity General:
Liaise with Operations to co-ordinate the progress and picking of sales orders in the warehouse and to ensure customer requirements are clearly communicated and fulfilled
Ensuring high standards of presentation of all areas of the sales officeSkills and experience:
It is vital you have a proven track record of Internal sales team management, development and control.
Proven experience managing a team with excellent people and conflict management skills
Ability to communicate and build relationships, with strong Customer focus
Excellent interpersonal, communication and decision-making skills
Excellent time management and organisational skills
Advanced knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Background within the Fastener industry would be advantageous, but not essential
Travel - role manages teams across two sites at Redditch and Stokenchurch so you must have the ability to drive and have a full and valid driving licenceThe Benefits:
