About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and results-oriented Project Manager to oversee a variety of technology-driven projects. This role involves working closely with key business and IT stakeholders to ensure the smooth execution of projects, managing resources efficiently, and maintaining clear communication throughout the project lifecycle. You will be based in London, Liverpool Street, with a hybrid work model requiring three days per week in the office.
What You’ll Be Doing
1. Leading and managing projects to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
2. Acting as the central point of coordination between business units, technology teams, and external partners.
3. Maintaining project documentation, including progress reports, risk logs, and financial tracking.
4. Ensuring proper resource allocation and resolving project roadblocks.
5. Managing scope changes and maintaining project governance.
6. Supporting stakeholders during the user acceptance testing (UAT) phase.
7. Facilitating the transition from project to business-as-usual operations.
8. Providing clear and concise reports to senior management and the PMO.
9. Driving continuous improvement initiatives within project management practices.
What We’re Looking For
1. At least 5 years of experience in Project Management within Financial Services Technology.
2. Strong knowledge of the trade lifecycle and reference data management.
3. Familiarity with back-office functions and accounts receivable processes is an advantage.
4. Expertise in Agile methodologies and ability to adapt to fast-paced environments.
5. Proven experience managing projects or programmes with budgets exceeding £500k.
6. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
7. Industry-recognized certifications such as Prince2, PMI, or AgilePM.
