About the job:
Our client currently requires a broad-based Integration and System Validation Engineer / Proving Engineer who will be able to:
1. Work with the systems engineering team and design teams to plan and execute trials.
2. Liaise with the systems engineering team and design teams to ensure adequate trials data is acquired and to investigate and resolve design issues.
3. Generate trials documentation.
4. Prepare, deliver and follow up internal and external Trials Readiness Reviews.
5. Conduct post trials data analysis and reporting.
6. Conduct and/or support trials including:
1. Laboratory based functional integration trials / system trials.
2. Ground based trials.
7. Generate a range of electrical tests and software proving tests to meet the Proving Requirements.
8. Carry out Functional Proving activities using Special To Type Test Equipment (SSTE) as well as able to carry out diagnostics using COTS Test Equipment (DMM, Oscilloscopes etc), able to fault find to component level.
9. Support Environmental Testing programmes including carrying out BIT test and collation of Trials conduct Reports.
10. Support a range of ground trials within compatibility testing labs (including PAS tests) and trials sites and monitor Non-Conformances within SAP.
In addition, the candidate will assist with:
1. Lab Management responsibilities (e.g. maintain risk assessments, asset management, host audits, maintain lab safety etc.)
2. Maintaining hardware and software configuration control.
3. Maintain and control calibrated items and deployed Test equipment.
About you:
As an Integration and System Validation Engineer you will need Experience of working in the following environments:

4. BIT Test and Pass Out Test.
5. System assessment and acceptance.
6. Design Verification.
7. Electronic design/test.
