This School based in Doncaster is for children and young people aged 3 to 18 with Autism, ADHD, and moderate learning difficulties. The school was rated ‘excellent’ by a recent Ofsted report. The school works tirelessly to make sure each of their pupils achieve their potential.
The role of a SEND Teaching Assistant involves working with children with a variety of Special Educational Needs such as Autistic Spectrum conditions. This role requires a highly motivated, adaptable, committed, enthusiastic and resilient classroom support assistant with great communication skills and a proactive approach to supporting the teacher and pupils. You will have experience working with young people with Special Educational Needs. You will work as part of a dedicated and committed team that have a child-centred approach in all they do.
Requirements
The desired SEND Teaching Assistant will have:
- Experience of working children and young people
- Experience of working with pupils with SEND
- A passion for the progress pupils with SEND
- An ability to work as part of a team
