Exciting Opportunity: SEN Teaching Assistant (Full-Time, Term-Time Only)

Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Cranborne, Dorset
Hourly Rate: £11.72 - £12.78 ...
Annual Salary: £20,941.30 - £22,835.30 (Term-Time Only)
Contract: Permanent, 40 hours per week, Term-Time Only
Role Overview:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll work with students aged 11-16 with special educational needs, including Autism. You will collaborate closely with our skilled teaching team, supporting students both in the classroom and through engaging outdoor activities such as Bushcraft and life skills development. Your role will be pivotal in fostering both their academic achievements and personal growth.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide tailored support to students, ensuring their well-being and safety.
2. Assist students in reaching goals set out in their Education and Healthcare Plans (EHCPs).
3. Implement positive behavior strategies adapted to individual needs.
4. Record and maintain accurate documentation of incidents and health and safety matters.
5. Encourage positive social interaction and collaborative teamwork.
