Who You Are You are an Early Help Practitioner experienced in working within a YOT Team/Youth Justice Service, passionate about preventing children and young people from entering the youth justice system. Your skills enable you to build trust and rapport with youth and families, effectively interact with multi-agency partners, and handle challenging situations while respecting diverse backgrounds. What the job involves In this role, you work within the Youth Justice Service on the Turnaround Programme to focus on early intervention and support for at-risk youth, addressing the root causes of potential criminal behavior. Key responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing individualized intervention plans, and providing one-on-one and group support sessions. You engage families and caregivers, collaborate with multi-agency partners, and monitor the progress of youth, evaluating intervention effectiveness.
