A senior-level role within the Property industry, the Financial Controller will oversee all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, and budget and forecast preparation.

Description
1. Oversee all financial operations and direct corporate financial planning and structure.
2. Coordinate, analyse and report the financial performance to Management and Board of Directors (financial performance, projections and other special projects as required).
3. Prepare short and long-term financial forecasts of financial performance for use with internal management and external parties.
4. Oversee audit and tax functions, coordinate activities with outside audit firms and review firms performance.
5. Develop, implement and maintain accounting and administrative policies and procedures for a wide-ranging set of activities including financial accounting and reporting, employee relations and other corporate policies.
6. Proficiency in all aspects of corporate accounting and all pertinent GAAP, SEC rules and regulations including Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
7. Responsible for relationships with lending institutions and the financial community.
Profile
1. A degree in accounting or finance.
2. Professional certification (e.g., CMA, CGA).
3. Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
4. Ability to strategise and solve problems.
5. Strong leadership and organisational skills.
6. An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers.
