The governors of Crowthorne C of E Primary School wish to appoint a professional, personable and highly organised School Bursar to join our successful and welcoming school. Our school bursar works alongside other staff in the main school office and is therefore a key member of our admin team. We are seeking a candidate who is willing to contribute to the school as a whole and who will be keen to find ways to ensure financial stability is maintained year on year. You must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be proficient with IT. You must be able to work on your own initiative but also be willing to work collaboratively and contribute fully to the smooth day-to-day running of the school office. The ability to prioritise tasks effectively and manage competing demands calmly is essential. Crowthorne C of E Primary School is a one-form entry primary school with 210 pupils aged 4 to 11. Attendance at governors’ meetings (a max of 6 times per year in the evenings) is also required. For the right individual with relevant experience, we would consider increasing the hours to up to 25 hours a week. In this situation, the suitable candidate would need to be willing to take on additional roles in the areas of HR, Health and Safety, Maintenance and general administration.
