A lovely Primary School in Hillingdon is looking for a SEND teacher to join their small intervention class in the mornings only.
The Role
In this role, you will be teaching a class of Year 1 and Reception children with moderate learning needs as they gradually reintegrate into the mainstream class. The class will have a maximum of 11 children and will follow a specialist curriculum tailored to their needs. You will be responsible for planning and involved in assessments and EHCP reviews for the children in your class. You will have support from trained SEND LSAs, a HLTA, and an educational psychologist who visits fortnightly.
The school is ideally looking for a qualified teacher who has previous experience of working with students with SEND and a passion for supporting children with SEND. This role is offered on a mornings-only contract basis initially, with the opportunity for the role to become permanent for the right teacher.

They provide a broad and balanced curriculum that includes firsthand experiences to challenge, motivate, and include all pupils, including those with SEND.
