Position: Events Executive
Reports to: Marketing Manager UK & Ireland
Role Overview: Based at our High Carr site, we are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Events Executive to join our innovative marketing team. As an Events Executive, you will play a pivotal role in the planning, coordination, and execution of our diverse portfolio of exhibitions, trade shows, conferences, and corporate events across all our brands. You will be responsible for ensuring that each event is flawlessly executed, captivating, and aligns with our European marketing strategy. This role presents an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with a passion for creativity, excellent organisational skills, and a keen eye for detail. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
Key Accountabilities:
* Collaborate with stakeholders to conceptualize design and create bespoke event experiences that align with the company goals and branding.
* Develop event themes, timelines, and detailed plans that ensure smooth execution.
* Manage the overall planning, coordination, and execution of events, ensuring timelines, budgets, and expectations are met.
* Develop and maintain a comprehensive checklist for event deliverables.
* Serve as main point of contact for clients, vendors, suppliers, and internal teams.
* Build and maintain relationships with venues, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure high-quality service.
* Oversee logistical arrangements, including venue selection, transportation, staffing, and setup.
* Ensure all materials and supplies are sourced and ready for the event.
* Work to enhance attendee engagement through creative activities, entertainment, or interactive sessions.
* Assist in developing marketing strategies and materials for events, including social media, email campaigns, and promotional content.
* Help manage event-specific communications, such as invitations and follow-up messages.
* Oversee on-site event logistics, including setup, coordinator of event flow, and troubleshooting issues.
* Gather feedback from clients and guests to assess the success of the event.
* Provide post-event reports that include attendee insights, media coverage, and key performance metrics.
Associated Responsibilities:
* Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to return on investment.
* Track expenses and seek opportunities for maximising budget.
* Identify potential sponsors and partners for events.
* Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, sponsors, exhibitors, and suppliers to enhance the event experience and secure future opportunities.
* Use insights to enhance future event planning and execution.
* Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor events, and emerging technologies to continuously improve event offerings and remain competitive.
Experience and Training:
* Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and external partners.
* Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and the ability to think outside the box.
* Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
* Proven experience in planning and executing successful exhibitions, trade shows, conferences, or corporate events.
* Must be able to travel to trade shows, events, and exhibitions regularly across the UK, Ireland and parts of Europe, as required.
