About the Role
As a Family Wellbeing Nurse within the Essex Child & Family Wellbeing Service, you will join a team focused on clinical excellence and who recently received a Good CQC rating. This role is part-time based in Braintree.
Main Duties of the Job
* Join a Healthy Family Team focused on clinical excellence, offering support to children and families and empowering them to reach their full potential.
* Work alongside a Multi-disciplinary team, including Health Visitors, School Nurses, and additional colleagues to provide family support.
* Deliver the Healthy Child Programme, including assessment of health needs, development, implementation, and evaluation of packages of care.
* Provide leadership and act as a positive role model by supporting colleagues and demonstrating excellent standards of care.
* Undertake mentorship responsibilities for pre-registration students and provide preceptorship to support new staff members.
* Regular safeguarding supervision and opportunities for continued professional development will be provided.
* A comprehensive induction programme is provided by our dedicated Practice Education Team.

The Ideal Candidate
* You will have a Nursing or Midwifery qualification, along with a passion and drive to help ensure that children have the best possible start in life.
* Applications from newly qualified Nurses or Midwives looking to start their career in a community setting will be considered.
* You will also need to be confident using IT systems and be able to demonstrate working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel.
You will have a valid UK driving licence and access to a car for work use.
