As the Senior Sourcing Operations Lead, you will be leading operations relating to our suppliers.
Your Mission
1. Oversee Supplier Onboarding & Offboarding Processes:
Take full ownership of the supplier onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure they align with On's internal standards and compliance requirements. This involves coordinating with relevant teams to assess new suppliers, conducting necessary background checks, managing documentation, and ensuring smooth transitions during offboarding while minimizing disruptions.
2. Manage End-to-End Sourcing Initiatives:
Work with the cross-functional teams to execute sourcing initiatives from start to finish, including contract negotiations and implementation. This includes setting project timelines, engaging stakeholders, negotiating contracts, and overseeing the implementation phase to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope. Act as a key point of contact between On and suppliers, fostering smooth collaboration across all phases of the sourcing process.
3. Supplier Lifecycle Management:
Coordinate with all relevant stakeholders—including legal, finance, operations, and sourcing teams—to monitor and manage the entire lifecycle of suppliers. This includes background verification, drafting and managing contractual agreements, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring suppliers meet evaluation criteria throughout their partnership with On. Ensure all supplier documentation is filed correctly and adheres to On's compliance standards.
4. Identify and Resolve Critical Issues and Risks:
Proactively identify potential risks or challenges in supplier relationships or sourcing operations and escalate them appropriately. Collaborate with functional teams to mitigate these risks and ensure timely resolution. Maintain an issue-tracking system to monitor progress and improve supplier performance over time.
5. Lead Sourcing Operation Tasks for New Special Sourcing Projects:
Take charge of key operational tasks for strategic sourcing projects, including the setup of new facilities such as the Sandal factory and the implementation of the LightSpray initiative in Asia. Ensure that these projects align with On's strategic goals, managing operations and budgets effectively to achieve desired outcomes.
6. Monitor and Control Budget for Overall Sourcing Operations:
Oversee and manage the budget allocated for sourcing operations, ensuring expenditures are aligned with approved financial plans. Track costs associated with sourcing activities and ensure efficient allocation of resources to optimize performance without exceeding budgetary constraints.
7. Coordinate Key Partnership Events:
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to organize and co-host key partnership events. These events are essential for maintaining strong relationships with strategic partners and fostering a culture of collaboration. Work closely with relevant stakeholders in the organization to ensure these events align with On's brand values and strategic goals.

Your Story
* Strong project management, high sense of organization.
* 5+ years of working experience in the Sportswear industry is desirable.
* Excellent leadership, organizational savvy, and interpersonal and communication skills in a fast-paced, cross-cultural, and cross-functional environment.
* Experience in leading and participating in cross-functional teams.
* Ability to deal with all levels of people, both internally and externally.
* Proven experience at an advanced level with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
* Fluency in English communication (spoken and written).
