Job Title: Bank Reablement Support Worker Salary: BR5 - £12.85 to £13.63 per hour Location: Bromley Civic Centre The London Borough of Bromley Reablement Service is currently looking to recruit Reablement Bank Support Workers to join our well established, existing team.Working within a Reablement model of care, Support Workers encourage clients to regain confidence and daily living skills in order to maintain as much independence as possible. The reablement service operates between 8am to 8pm- and this role is to cover shifts on an ad hoc basis, this could include working evenings, weekends, and bank holidays between the service delivery hours of 8am - 8pm. The Reablement Support Worker will assist our service users to take greater control of their lives to remain independent and help eliminate their need for further intervention. Essential - Driving a car/vehicle is an integral and regular feature of the job; and therefore, having a current driving licence and use of own car/vehicle are deemed to be essential and compulsory for the performance of the job. It is desirable that candidate hold a level 2 NVQ in care work or be willing to undertake the care certificate.
