Deputy Manager - Community Support Services
Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency, has a new permanent position available for a Deputy Manager to work within the Community Support Services Team in Billericay, Essex.
The salary for this permanent Deputy Manager job is up to £26,411 per annum.
Responsibilities:
1. Work with service users, their families, representatives, and other professionals in developing and delivering person-centred support packages for children, young people, and adults with learning disabilities and complex needs.
2. Monitor the quality and effectiveness of activity programmes in each division, reporting success areas and areas for improvement to the manager.
3. Ensure medication administration requirements and specialist health care tasks are identified, assessed, and administered following current legislation.
4. Regularly consider training needs of service users in conjunction with the training team.
5. Ensure appropriate support services are in place for service users with complex physical health needs.
6. Provide continual support and supervision to allocated staff members, maintaining agreed strategies and standards.
7. Ensure all new staff complete a thorough induction programme and care certificate workbook prior to the end of their probationary period.
8. Provide opportunities for service users to build social networks and connect with local community organisations.
9. Work flexibly as required and agreed by the post holder and manager.
Requirements:
1. A Social Work Qualification or equivalent.
2. Understanding of relevant legislation.
3. Social Work England registered.
