As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the operational day-to-day management of the service ensuring continued compliance with relevant legislation.
Working in partnership with Managing Director/Registered Manager and with colleagues in the senior management team you will ensure the provision of a high-quality service enabling individual needs and organisational priorities to be met in accordance with available resources.

* To work under the direction of the Managing Director/Registered Manager, to monitor service and supervise the work of the Care Team.
* To provide leadership for care service delivery of the company to ensure the provision of quality and economically sound services;
* Deputise for the Managing Director as required.
* To maximise the financial performance of the company whilst maintaining high standards of service delivery, in accordance with the legal and professional standards.
* To contribute to the strategic, operational and business development of the company.
* Work alongside the Managing Director in maximising utilisation of resources including training for all staff.
* To take responsibility for health and safety compliance and for compliance to internal and external audit standards.
* To identify business development opportunities such as new service lines and the further development of existing services.
* To monitor key performance indicators to ensure the delivery of safe, personalised services to each individual service user through assessment, person centred planning and regular outcome focussed reviews of services.
* To support service users to create personalised care plans and risk assessments in line with all legislation including Health & Social Care Act 2014 and CQC Essential Standards 2010 and Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.
* To promote quality care and support to Service Users, to enhance existing levels of functioning and quality of life.
* To Monitor, Review and Audit service delivery, carry out assessments to meet legislation and complete all appropriate paperwork for care planning and Service User files.
* To ensure transfer all data collected to the company IT systems in a timely and professional fashion
* To work within the requirements of the appropriate UK National Care Standards Act(s), The Working Time Directive and the accompanying Regulations and Standards
* To ensure adequate service delivery and adherence to Company policies and procedures by:
1. Promoting and taking part in regular team meetings.
2. Performing spot checks on service delivery.
3. Regularly monitoring service delivery.
4. Reviewing existing and developing new working time assessments.
* To ensure that confidentiality if monitored in relation to both Service Users affairs and to Company policies and procedures.
* To ensure that Workers and Service Users are aware of emergency procedures and all relevant contact numbers, and auditing any information that is uploaded onto the companys IT system.
* To support care team with, advice, guidance and training.
