The school serves the Mid Formartine area of Aberdeenshire with 12 feeder primary schools. This post holds the current whole school strategic lead of Raising Attainment with an additional focus on Partnership working and Increasing creativity and employability. We are seeking an enthusiastic and inspirational professional who will work closely with all staff and partners to drive forward these important strategic areas of school improvement. An important aspect of our partnership working is to drive forward our strategic Developing the Young Workforce plan as well as overseeing the Business Partnership Group to continue working to embed our Skills Framework throughout the school. This post also holds the operational lead for SQA, Exam planning and co-ordination, Tracking Monitoring and Reporting, SNSA/ACEL, 16 Positive destinations, Parental communication and parent’s evenings. Requirements Salary for this post will be in accordance with SNCT agreements. Applicants must be or eligible to be fully GTC Scotland registered. Please note that the grade for this position may be subject to change. Promoted Teaching Posts that meet the criteria will be resized on an annual basis, in line with the SNCT Handbook. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required.
