Job Purpose
As a Social Worker in the Families Together Service, you will be holding a well-managed case load of young people who are at risk of entering the care of the Local Authority, including assessing and supporting 16-17 Homeless young people alongside Croydon Housing. You will work with a passionate and dedicated team of social workers and Edge of Care workers to prevent entry to Local Authority Care.

Minimum Requirements
1. Qualified and registered Social Workers / Advanced Social Workers who are Social Work England registered and have completed your AYSE.
2. Experienced in making assessments, implementing plans and delivering interventions.
3. Sound knowledge of the Croydon 16-17 Homeless Protocol.
4. Skilled in managing complex cases and competent in presenting cases in court with demonstrable professionalism and empathy.
5. Your experience of working in a statutory setting is desirable but not essential.
