The Director of Contingent Workforce Management is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing a global contingent workforce strategy, with a focus on optimizing vendor management systems (VMS) and driving cost efficiency across multiple countries. This role requires expertise in partnering with Managed Service Providers (MSP), procurement, and internal stakeholders to establish and grow both first- and second-generation contingent workforce programs. The ideal candidate will leverage their deep understanding of contingent workforce management to deliver effective and scalable solutions, ensuring compliance, reducing costs, and optimizing performance across regions. Key Responsibilities: Global Program Leadership: Lead and manage contingent workforce programs across multiple countries, ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance with local regulations. Vendor Management Systems (VMS): Oversee the implementation and optimization of VMS solutions, ensuring effective system use, integration, and alignment with operational goals. MSP & Supplier Partnerships: Assist with the selection and management of MSP partners. Collaborate closely with Managed Service Providers (MSP) and suppliers to ensure seamless service delivery, performance management, and continuous improvement of the contingent workforce program. First & Second-Generation Programs: Deploy both first- and second-generation contingent workforce programs, from strategy development to execution, ensuring scalability and adaptability across various regions and business units. Cost Optimization: Drive overall cost savings through strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and process improvements. Continuously identify opportunities to enhance efficiencies and reduce contingent workforce spend. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams, including procurement, HR, legal, and finance, to ensure alignment of workforce strategies and operational efficiencies. Risk Management & Compliance: Ensure compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations, and contractual obligations related to the contingent workforce. Mitigate risks through proactive oversight and controls. Performance Metrics & Reporting: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for contingent workforce programs. Provide regular reporting to executive leadership on program success, savings achieved, and areas for improvement. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, or Supply Chain, or Human Resources, or a related field. 8 years of experience in contingent workforce management on a global level, including hands-on experience with Vendor Management Systems (VMS). Proven track record of implementing and managing contingent workforce programs across multiple countries. Strong understanding of Managed Service Providers (MSP) and supplier management in a global context. Expertise in deploying first- and second-generation workforce programs. Excellent negotiation, strategic sourcing, and cost-saving skills. Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with experience working with procurement, HR, and legal teams. Ability to manage complex, large-scale projects with a focus on operational efficiency and continuous improvement. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and drive actionable insights. Preferred Experience: Experience in industries with high reliance on contingent labor, such as IT, contact centers, or logistics. Familiarity with global labor markets, regulations, and compliance.
