Job summary We are looking to recruit a Pharmacy Ward Services Assistant into our busy Ward Services section of the Pharmacy Department at Frimley Park Hospital. If you are motivated, with good communication skills and a customer service mentality, have a methodical approach to work, an ability to work unsupervised as well as part of a team - you could be the person we are looking for. The successful candidate must be willing to complete a level 2 stock management qualification in pharmacy services. Main duties of the job To support the Ward Services manager in facilitating a prompt and efficientpharmaceutical stock supply to customers. Your duties will involve visiting wards to check and replenish medicines ensuring they are safe to use and available at the appropriate times to treat patients. Other duties include the receipt and storage of stock and putting together stock orders (picking and checking) for delivery to wards and external clinics. The post may involve travel to other sites (car provided) and a degree of manual handling on a daily basis. The post holder will be expected to wear appropriate PPE where necessary.
