Job Overview: Check Fire Security Ltd are looking to recruit an experienced Fire Alarm Service Engineer to carry out various works to Fire Detection & Alarm Systems and other associated fire safety systems along with completing and submitting all relevant documentation. Ensuring up to date knowledge of, and compliance with, all relevant British Standards is essential. Due to the nature of the work, you may be asked to work away or work outside of normal hours (8-5) to complete certain projects from time to time. Main Responsibilities: To work with and under instruction from Service Team, complying with work instructions, company and Health and Safety policies and procedures. To comply with all Injury Prevention policies and support new initiatives. To maintain a good working knowledge of circuits and measuring devices and an understanding and respect of electrical circuits as well as undertaking training courses and development activities where necessary. To act as a Company Ambassador at all times. You must be smart in appearance, pleasant in attitude and capable of communicating diplomatically to strengthen customer relationships. Routine servicing and reactive maintenance of various Fire Detection & Alarm Systems and other associated systems. Maintain an accurate and high standard of Customer, Company and Personal paperwork. To induct, manage and develop any personnel within your responsibility. Undertake 'On-Call’ duties as part of your Area Team. To undertake any additional duties at the request of your line manager, which is deemed to be within your competency.
