Location: Maidstone Leisure Centre (may be required at other sites as well)

Working Hours: 20 per week, day hours between Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work when required

To deliver those services takes an enthusiastic and customer-focused team - and right now we are looking to recruit a Bookings and Payroll Administrator to join our centre.
In this role, you will maintain and control an effective on-site Bookings and Administration function. Your day-to-day tasks will include the following:
* Management of the finance system for cash collection and head office reconciliations.
* Maintain records of cash, invoices, expenditure, and accurate block booking records.
* Establish and maintain debtor and creditor monitoring systems.
* Raise and manage the sales invoices system in a timely manner.
* Manage credit control systems ensuring efficient debt management.
* Assist with the weekly and monthly payroll system and Serco's time management system (Shopworks).
* Consistently and actively apply good housekeeping principles, such as turning off lights and equipment when not in use, to contribute to our strategy to reduce utility consumption and carbon footprint.
* Comply with company policies and procedures and undertake any other appropriate duties as may be allocated from time to time in accordance with the general nature of the post.

About you
The successful candidate will be a passionate and enthusiastic individual who, like the members of staff, prides themselves on giving the best service possible for those who visit the centre and going the extra mile for customers when needed.
To be considered for this role, it's essential that you have previous experience working in a finance office environment and familiarity with basic accounting principles, as well as computer software systems, e.g., MS Excel, accounting packages, e.g., Sage.
You will have excellent organisation, record-keeping, communication, numeric skills, and be IT/computer literate.
