Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to individuals in various settings, including home care, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities. Responsibilities
* Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication management.
* Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
* Support individuals with mobility challenges, including heavy lifting when necessary.
* Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required.
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans tailored to individual needs.
* Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in condition.
* Ensure a clean and safe living environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties as needed.
* Engage in activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation for clients.
Experience
* Previous experience in care settings such as home care, nursing homes, or assisted living is highly desirable.
* Familiarity with hospice care or childcare is an advantage.
* A valid driver's licence is preferred for transporting clients.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and their families.
* A compassionate approach with a genuine desire to help others is essential.
* Ability to perform physical tasks associated with the role, including heavy lifting when required.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £18,146.00-£19,114.00 per year
