We are looking for adedicated and experienced Occupational Therapistto join our team, supporting children and young people withspecial educational needsfrom ages0-25. The ideal candidate will be aqualified Occupational Therapistwith experience in educational settings. The caseload will be assigned based on experience.
Responsibilities:
* Provide1:1 and group therapy sessions, assessing individual needs and settingtargeted goalseach term.
* Work collaboratively withteachers, parents, and other professionalsto support students’ development.
* Offertraining and guidanceto school staff on occupational therapy strategies and interventions.
* Maintaindetailed session notes, adjusting therapy plans as needed.
* Stay up to date withbest practices and advancementsin Occupational Therapy.
Requirements:
* HCPC & RCOT registered Occupational Therapist.
* Experience working withchildren, ideally in an SEN or educational setting.
* Strong understanding ofvarious disabilities, therapeutic interventions, and sensory integration.
* Excellentcommunication and interpersonal skillsto engage with students, staff, and parents.
* Ability todevelop and implement individualised therapy plans.
* Knowledge ofspecialist equipmentis an advantage.
