St Margaret’s Hospice Care has a fantastic opportunity for a Brand and Marketing Manager to join our team. This role is based in Taunton. You will join us on a 12-month fixed term basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £34,142 per annum. This is a full-time role with a working pattern of Monday - Thursday 9:00 am – 5:00 pm and Friday 9:00 am – 4:30 pm. There may occasionally be a requirement to work outside of office hours and on weekends in order to support promotional activities and events. Your day-to-day work will include: Developing, executing, and evaluating comprehensive brand strategies and marketing campaigns aligned with the hospice’s objectives. Guiding the digital team on social media platforms to help grow income across our fundraising portfolio, building relationships and appropriate engagement organically and through targeted campaigns with existing and new supporters online. Developing compelling visual and written content, including stories, photos, videos, and blogs, focusing on patients, families, supporters, and staff. What can you expect to be good at? You will: Be an experienced marketing and communications professional. Ideally, you will hold a marketing or a similar professional qualification in a relevant field. Have proven experience managing traditional and digital media channels. Be able to work at pace, both independently and as part of a team with a calm ‘can do approach’, and flexible attitude. Be confident, self-motivated, pro-active, and enthusiastic. Be confident working with a wide range of people in appropriate and engaging ways, including the ability to communicate effectively with senior personnel, staff, volunteers, and supporters, some of whom may be service users or related to patients Part of this role will involve travelling across Somerset. As such access to a car and a current, valid driving licence is an essential requirement of the role. What can we offer you?
