Applications are invited for the post of Clinical Fellow (FHO1 equivalent) to commence from 07 August 2024 until 05 August 2025 at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in the following rotations:
• Rotation 1: General Medicine with Gastroenterology (07/08/2024 - 03/12/2024).
• Rotation 2: General Surgery (Colorectal) (04/12/2024-01/04/2025).
• Rotation 3: Intensive Care Medicine (02/04/2025-05/08/2025).
This post will be able to provide you with experience of working in a ward environment within General Medicine, General Surgery and Intensive Care Medicine. During the placement within General Medicine you will have the opportunity to experience working as part of a busy medical take team based in the Emergency Department. A significant amount of senior support is available which greatly contributes to the educational value of these shifts, and enables completion of workplace-based assessments in Acute Care.

Full Registration and a Licence to Practice with the General Medical Council at point of application is required.
The applicant must have demonstrable skills in listening, reading, writing and speaking in English that enable effective communication about medical topics with patients and colleagues, as set out in the GMC’s Good Medical Practice (2013). Non-UK applicants must possess the IELTS/OET exam before obtaining a GMC licence to practice.
