We are seeking a new Deputy Chief Financial Officer to join the Trust as we embark on a significant transformation journey as an organisation and as a system in Greater Manchester.
The role is an exciting opportunity for an established, energetic and credible senior financial leader, with significant NHS experience or a similar sector at Director or sub board level, to be part of a forward-thinking leadership team dedicated to transformation, where your expertise will directly contribute to shaping the future of NHS finance.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills are essential, along with a deep understanding of NHS services and a commitment to reducing inequality. As a strategic and adaptable leader, you will bring expertise and energy to support your teams and senior leadership in making informed financial decisions during challenging times. With strong political awareness and a collaborative style, you will quickly build trust and confidence with stakeholders internally and externally, fostering effective partnerships to drive financial sustainability and innovation both locally and regionally.
This role will make a meaningful contribution to our shared vision, working closely with our Chief Financial Officer and Executive team. As Deputy Chief Financial Officer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial sustainability of our services, providing expert financial leadership and strategic insight. Working closely with the Chief Financial Officer and senior leadership team, you will contribute to effective decision-making, financial planning, and the continuous improvement of financial systems and processes.
