Mechanical Engineer We are happy to be recruiting for one of our large Clients based in the Stowmarket area. We are looking for a skilled and motivated Maintenance Engineer to support process operations within a manufacturing and filling environment. This role involves planned maintenance, small projects, and reactive work within an industrial paint production facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background, with electrical knowledge being advantageous. This is a full-time position requiring flexibility for overtime when necessary. This role is ideal for a mechanically qualified professional looking to develop their career within a dynamic industrial setting. It would suit someone with experience in maintenance engineering, a proactive mindset, and a strong understanding of health and safety procedures. The ability to work both independently and as part of a team is essential, along with strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail. Key Responsibilities Provide support for planned maintenance and reactive maintenance activities. Read and interpret engineering diagrams and drawings. Maintain and repair mechanical equipment within the production facility. Fault find and problem solve. Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures and legislation. Have experience in LOTO (Lock out Tag out procedure) Utilise CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management Systems) to track and manage maintenance activities.Benefits Competitive salary with overtime pays at enhanced rates.
