Why this job is important
As a Treasury Manager, you will play a crucial role in our dynamic finance organisation, directly accountable to the Senior Manager - Group Cash Forecasting. You will support regional treasury activities, cash repatriation, cash forecasting, and ad-hoc treasury projects. Your responsibilities will be central to the Group Treasury team, helping to establish comprehensive frameworks that guarantee the integrity of our liquidity management and cash flow forecasting.
What you'll be doing
1. Develop a database by country of treasury matters, including local working capital requirements, foreign currency exposures, letters of credit, cash extraction plans, local banking partners, and regulatory requirements.
2. Propose solutions for the extraction of cash from regions, including improvements to bank account structures and banking partners.
3. Support the Group Treasury team on projects, including M&A, banking reorganisation, or systems implementation.
4. Drive cash centralisation actions and ensure they are appropriately captured in the Treasury Management system and the cash forecasting system.
5. Lead the management of dividend, loan, and transfer pricing payments to the centre across your allocated region.
6. Monitor cash balances against cash targets and work with local teams to repatriate cash to the centre to meet targets.
7. Provide analytical support to the Senior Manager - Group Cash Forecasting, including detailed analysis and report production.
The skills & experience needed as Treasury Manager
1. Significant experience in global treasury operations, with a proven track record of progressively responsible roles.
2. Ability to work across time zones and regions to influence and implement decisions.
3. In-depth knowledge of risk management principles and practices related to treasury operations.
4. Familiarity with treasury management systems (TMS) and other financial software tools.
5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts to various stakeholders.
